And as usual, there is a lovely cast of side characters that you’ll love and hate equally!I want to live in Bluewater! This book is absolutely everything. Just when I thought Lucy Score couldn't get any better, she releases this, and it's absolute perfection. Easily one of the best books I've read so far this year, and that's really saying something, since it's a great time to be a reader!I am such a huge fan of Demily. They are absolute perfection. There really isn't another way to describe them. They are both damaged and flawed, but in ways that make them more endearing, more human. They are both funny and determined in a way that had me cheering them on both individually and as a couple. I fell for both of them, and I fell hard.I love that Emily is smart, fun, and not afraid to be in charge. When things get tough, she digs in and works harder. She is so determined to make it on her own. She feels such a responsibility to everyone who relies on her, and she refuses to let them down. She doesn’t know how to ask for help, because she has had so few people to rely on.Enter Derek. He’s the absolute hottie who is determined to succeed, not only for himself, but also for his new intriguing client. I love watching him fall hard for Emily. I love that he is not only a complete hottie, but he is also smart, hilarious, and has a heart of gold. He is definitely the kind of guy who will do whatever it takes to get the job done, but he knows he has to prove himself to Emily. And prove himself he does. I adore the fact that he not only shows her that he can help her solve her business problems, but that there is so much more out there for her.I love the way Derek and Emily truly become a team. They both offer a life so much bigger than either one thought possible. They offer so much of themselves, become so vulnerable, and get back just as much in return. They are both such strong people, but they find they are even stronger together. There is no doubt in my mind that this couple can take on the world.And this group of Bluewater Vagillionaires, they are the absolute best. I love this group of girls so, so much! The way they love and support one another is amazing. On top of that, they are absolutely hilarious! I want to be friends with them so bad!This book has moments that will make you laugh out loud and moments that will make you swoon. You will be on the edge of your seat with anticipation of what will come next, and you will be delightfully happy. However, be careful. You may end up melting your Kindle and your heart. I adore Bluewater and can’t wait for more!Dazzling!! I have really been looking forward to this new series and The Price of Scandal is an absolutely amazing start!When Emily hits rock bottom, Derek steps in to polish up her image and save her company. Except she doesn't want his help and he doesn't care. What follows is hilarious and sexy. And did I mention hilarious? Because it is really laugh out loud funny.I loved Emily and Derek: their snarky banter, their insane chemistry, their dazzling romance. I loved the sweet but wacky cast of secondary characters. I love the idea of four strong lady billionaire friends and the stories we have to look forward to!I sincerely wish I could give this book more than 5 stars!!
